New documentary series highlights realities of Pacific seasonal workers
Today the Talanoa section of the NZ Herald launched the first of a five part mini-documentary series on the RSE workers. The series titled “Voices of the Pacific” was produced by PCF in partnership with HortNZ. Watch the first of our videos featuring Solomona Kelekolio from Samoa.
PMPYA: PCF International Scholar Award Winner
The Prime Minister’s Pacific Youth Awards 2022 featured an incredible group of young Pacific people recognised for excelling in their chosen fields. PCF are the sponsors of the International Scholar Award which recognises a young person who epitomises the strong positive relationship between Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific Islands through their leadership, community service (both Aotearoa New Zealand and Pacific home nation) and academic performance.
PCF Launches first Pacific Perceptions Report
Pacific Cooperation Foundation has launched the first Pacific Perceptions Report in New Zealand. Commissioned by PCF and conducted by Kantar, the report called ‘New Zealanders’ Perceptions of the Pacific’ focuses on attitudes and feelings towards and about Pacific peoples in New Zealand.
