New documentary series highlights realities of Pacific seasonal workers

Solomona Kelekolio signed up to come work overseas in a bid to better his family's lives back home in Samoa.

Today the Talanoa section of the NZ Herald launched the first of a five part mini-documentary series on the RSE workers. The series titled “Voices of the Pacific” was produced by PCF in partnership with HortNZ. These are the stories of workers from the five original RSE Pacific nations that started the scheme 16 years ago. Laugh and cry as they tell of their journey to Aotearoa and why they choose to be away from their families. Join us over the next five weeks as Talanoa, NZ Herald release each doco.
