MANA WANTAIM Uniting Pacific Power for Global Impact

We launched MANA WANTAIM today, a transformative alumni and professional platform that promotes collaboration, leadership, and development for Pacific scholars, alumni, and employers. The launch, held during PCF’s wrap-up event, celebrated scholars' achievements and the continued growth of the alumni network, marking the beginning of an exciting new journey for all stakeholders.

What is MANA WANTAIM?

The name MANA WANTAIM reflects the essence of the platform:

  • Mana: Power, authority, and the spiritual essence of leadership deeply rooted in Pacific culture.

  • Wantaim: A Melanesian term meaning "together as one," symbolising unity, solidarity, and collaboration across the Pacific.

Together, MANA WANTAIM embodies a movement that unites Pacific leaders, scholars, and employers to create lasting change and impact.

A Platform for Lifelong Growth and Connection

More than an alumni, MANA WANTAIM is a professional family of practice that nurtures talent, builds connections and supports lifelong learning. Here’s what it offers:

  • Exclusive Webinars and Networking Events: Alumni and employers gain access to online courses, industry talks, and networking sessions designed to foster leadership and innovation.

  • In-Person Experiences: Building on previous successes, the platform will continue to organize high-impact events such as breakfasts at Google, tickets to festivals, and access to major sporting events.

  • Employer Engagement: Employers within Mana Wantaim benefit from tailored events, meet-ups, and the opportunity to collaborate with a talented pool of emerging Pacific leaders.

  • Relational Space (VĀ) Support: Central to Mana Wantaim is the concept of VĀ, the relational space that connects individuals and communities. Through this, Mana Wantaim nurtures genuine relationships and provides an environment for mutual support and professional growth.

  • Growing the Movement Across the Pacific: Mana Wantaim aims to expand across the Moana (Pacific Ocean), creating a thriving international network of Pacific voices and leaders.

Why It Matters

“MANA WANTAIM is not just a platform—it’s a collective movement. It’s where Pacific identity, leadership, and professional collaboration converge to shape the future. We are bringing together scholars, alumni, and employers to build a legacy of impact that transcends borders and industries.”

MANA WANTAIM supports PCF’s strategic goals of Strengthening Identity, Deepening Relationships, and Amplifying Voices, ensuring that Pacific scholars and professionals are equipped to lead in their fields and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
