Initiative: New Zealand Scholarships Undergraduate Student Summer Internship
Pacific Cooperation Foundation (PCF) works to promote greater understanding of effective business and trade through promotion of economic and development cooperation within the region.
The Pacific Engagement Strategy is designed to foster and enhance this understanding by implementing various projects and programmes that will contribute to the positive perception of investing and doing business in the Pacific region.
The PCF Alumni for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) Pacific and Timor Leste Scholars is part of this Pacific Engagement Strategy, where PCF works in partnership with MFAT’s Scholarship Programme to create a thriving alumni that supports ‘in-country’ recipients.
For high achieving MFAT Pacific Scholars, PCF and MFAT are offering the opportunity to be part of the NZ Scholarships Undergraduate Student Summer Internship.
Current MFAT Pacific and Timor Leste Scholars studying at undergraduate level can gain invaluable work experience in NZ over the summer period.
The purpose of the Summer Internships is for high achieving students from the Pacific and Timor Leste to gain professional experience through work with reputable NZ companies and government organisations, to develop professional networks, and to improve their readiness to enter employment on return to their home country.
