The research is a new initiative and is currently being undertaken by Kantar Public (previously known as Colmar Brunton).

This report will present the results of a survey of 2,339 New Zealanders aged 15 years and over. and is representative of New Zealanders by age within gender and location. It also includes insights from five qualitative focus groups. These include three groups with different Pasifika respondents and two groups with a mix of New Zealanders from other ethnicities. Quantitative and qualitative surveys will be conducted using a set of metrics to track sentiment. and provide in-depth insights into key themes and topics of interest.

A report produced at the conclusion of this survey, will enable PCF to possess a comprehensive evidence-based overview of opinion pieces and research on Pacific Peoples in New Zealand. The insights provided through this study will enable PCF to advocate and advise on strategic Pacific-Aotearoa New Zealand issues and opportunities.
