PCF Supporting and Collaborating to Build up Pacific Youth Leaders and Future Influencers

Success Stories 5 Feb 2021

Lobbyist, lawyer and proud millennial, Holly Bennett (Te Arawa, Ngāti Whakaue, Ngāti Pikiao) is on a mission to unmask the government relations industry in Aotearoa, so that everyone can have their voice heard. The organisation offers education on what government relations is, and by teaching the skills, strategies and mechanisms to get results from lobbying.

It was an honour when Holly reached out to the PCF after the Inaugural PCF Youth Leadership Awards held in Parliament last December asking if we could nominate three awardees to partake in her Government Relations Taster Training Course. She said she wanted to offer this opportunity, “as a gift to my Pasifika whanau.”

We are so pleased to share with you Holly’s Engage x PCF Post GR Taster Training Report, summarising the experiences of these phenomenal Pacific Youth leaders and future influencers – Shaneel Lal, Leulua'iali'i Satuala Christopher Tofaeono Tanuvasa, and Dr. Brittany Stanley-Wishart.

You can read more about these government relations training courses here www.engage.org.nz.
