Pacific Cooperation Foundation and Code Avengers launch ‘Digital Navigators’

Pacific Cooperation Foundation (PCF) of Auckland with Code Avengers of Hamilton, New Zealand announce today the launch of ‘Digital Navigators,’ a seven-part series of webinars that explores the journey of digital entrepreneurs from across the Pacific region.

The first webinar will be on Thursday June 4 and will showcase the entrepreneurial talents of Litia Kirwan, founder of social enterprise Loving Islands, based in Fiji.

Pacific Cooperation Foundation’s vision is to promote connected, informed and enabled communities in the Pacific region.

Chief Executive Don Mann says digital literacy provides both entrepreneurs and workers the necessary skills to participate effectively in a digitised economy.

“Digital literacy is a predictor of economic opportunities including higher salaries and employment. COVID-19 has thrown a spotlight on the power of digital literacy as a pathway to prosperity.”

“Through our network of relationships across the Pacific region, we have been able to secure the cooperation of an amazing group of talented entrepreneurs. Together with Code Avengers, we look forward to showcasing Pacific talent to the rest of the world.”

Code Avengers is an online digital technology education service based in New Zealand.
