Kia ora and Pacific greetings everybody. We have some exciting changes happening at PCF and we need your creative thinking caps to come up with a new name for our monthly newsletter.

In doing so we will open a contest over the next three weeks. Please submit your suggestions by email to our Marketing and Communications Manager, Suzanne Suisuiki -

A selection committee will choose the winner and will make the announcement on Monday 1 April. The winner will be acknowledged for their contribution on our website, social media pages and other relevant outlets. They will also receive a copy of 'Black Marks on the White Page', a collection of stories from Māori and Pacific writers. (pictured above)

(Our current newsletter)

Criteria for name:
  • Is inclusive of all Pacific cultures
  • Express and promote regionalism and Pacific principles such as friendship, collective ambition/actions/solutions, understanding and mutual benefit
  • Be relatively short - two to three words as it needs to fit on the masthead of the current newsletter
  • Be unique, there are other Pacific organisations that send out newsletters. We want our newsletter to have a title that is easily identifiable with Pacific Cooperation Foundation

The renamed newsletter will debut in late April. Deadlines for entries is March 29th 5pm.

We look forward to receiving your creative submissions!
