New PCF CEO to start in early 2019

Pacific Cooperation Foundation (PCF) is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Don Mann.

Don is of Tongan and Māori descent, he has familial ties to Vava'u, Tonga and affiliated to Ngāti Ruapani & Ngāti Kahungunu. In his career, he has long advocated and supported New Zealand Pacific individuals, groups and communities by ensuring they tap into their potential and strengths.

Prior to PCF, Don was the Head of Corporate Partnerships at the Auckland Tourism Events & Economic Development (ATEED). During his time at ATEED, Don led the commercialisation of the organisation's economic development programme and in addition led key Pasifika stakeholder engagement which included this year's Pacific Business Trust Awards, Pasifika Festival commercial strategy, mentoring of emerging Pacific Business Leaders and advising Pasifika business owners.

Within ATEED, Don took on the role of nurturing and developing Pacific and Māori staff and this is an attribute that he is keen to continue when he begins his new role.

Don is eager and well prepared to contribute his leadership skills to the Foundation and looks forward to engaging with the stakeholders from all over the Pacific region when he officially begins from Monday 14 January, 2019.
