The final deadline for the submission of abstracts for the 23rd IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion in Rotorua has been extended to next week Friday, September 14.
The NZ Health Promotion Forum is co-hosting the event with IUHPE on April 7-11, 2019.
Forum Executive Director Sione Tu’itahi says September 14 is the final opportunity to submit abstracts as they’re unable to extend the deadline again.
“As the co-hosts of the Conference, I ask that you share this with your colleagues and networks,” he says.
The conference is titled Wairoa: Promoting Planetary Health and Sustainable Development for all.
Held every three years, IUHPE defines state of the art in terms of health promotion practice, research, and theory.
It also represents a unique platform to showcase New Zealand’s innovation and excellence in health promotion to a global audience, along with our country’s natural beauty, culture and hospitality.
With Graham Robertson, President and fellow Co-Chair of IUHPE, Tu’itahi says it is a “tremendous honour for the Health Promotion Forum of New Zealand (HPF) to be hosting the Conference in association with the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE)”.
“Without doubt, the IUHPE world conferences are most significant occasions that bring together those dedicated to health promotion from across the globe.”
