We are pleased to introduce our intern, Constance Caruzzo. She is currently a third-year student at EGC Business and Management School in Noumea, New Caledonia. Constance will be interning with PCF for two months where she will gain some valuable knowledge and experience, specifically in the area of marketing and communications.
"When I return to Noumea, I want to share what I've learned at PCF with my fellow peers and community leaders. This internship will provide me with skills that will be beneficial to my future workplace."
Originally from the south of France, Constance is the eldest of four. Her parents' curiosity and interest in the Pacific region - the great numbers of island nations, cultures and history, led them to make the move to New Caledonia in 2014. Although they would still be able to converse in their native tongue, the change in lifestyle meant adapting to a tropical climate all year round, being introduced to Pacific staple foods such as taro and yam and interacting with the indigenous peoples, the Kanaks.
However since their move, they haven't looked back and Constance has also adopted her parents' outlook by wanting to learn more about the Pacific, resulting in her internship at PCF. Her goal for this year is to graduate and find a role within a communications agency in Noumea. In addition to graduating and working, Constance says she has a five-year plan of working her way up towards a senior-level position.
"In five years' time, I aim to be a Marketing and Communications Manager and work in projects that involves Digital Marketing, Communication and Event Management".
We wish Constance all the best with her studies and the PCF team are extremely proud to offer her the professional experience she deserves.
