The Pacific Business Days' Event happening in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia from 20 – 23 March aims to foster direct communication among the delegations of the main exporting countries in the area. PCF CEO Craig Strong is attending as a representative from New Zealand.
Brought together by the South Pacific Employers Organisations (RPPS), representatives from 15 countries will be in attendance, including Australia, Fiji, Cook Islands, Easter Island, Niue, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna.
The programme will include plenary sessions with geopolitical and economic presentations covering topics such as general presentations, economic wealth, commercial trade and investments.
There is also an opportunity for conference and debase on a variety of topics including transportation between islands, digital communication, production sectors and strategic investments.
An exhibition space will include areas for each delegation as well as local manufacturers and artisans.
