For the past 11 years Craig (pictured) has been based in Suva, Fiji where he has held general management positions of significant Fijian trading companies, most recently as General Manager of Pacific Agencies (Fiji) Limited.

PCF Chair Peter Kiely says the Board was pleased with the quality of the high number of applicants for the role but it was particularly impressed with Craig's regional experience and knowledge.

"Craig is the current President of the Fiji NZ Business Council and sits on the Board of the Fiji Australia Business Council, the Fiji PNG Business Council and chairs the Board of the Fiji Export Council and has good familiarity with the region."

The new CEO will brings a strong record of Board governance in the commercial, government and not for profit organisations which currently includes the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation.

"We are all looking forward to being enriched by his extensive regional experience and willingness to participate and help other partners and stakeholders both in New Zealand and the region," the Chair adds.
