NZPBC Virtual Trade Mission: Solomon Islands

The New Zealand Pacific Business Council is delighted to announce its next trade mission, to the Solomon Islands In light of travel restrictions, this mission will be a virtual trade mission, delivered over three half-days from November 17 - 19, 2020.

We are aiming to replicate the full trade mission experience. Participants will hear from a wide range of speakers on topics such as:

  • Economic update
  • Conducting business in the Solomon Islands
  • Understanding the main sectors of the Solomon Islands economy
  • Understanding local capabilities
  • Plus, some in-depth conversations into particular sectors and issues, and case studies

We will also have break-out sessions in the programme so that participants can meet in smaller groups, especially to make new contacts for further business development.

This trade mission will be of interest to any organisation within New Zealand who are looking to develop new business in the Solomon Islands, and equally to Solomon Island businesses who are seeking to forge relationships into New Zealand.

There will be a nominal fee to recover the costs in organising this event.
