Pacific Cooperation Foundation (PCF) is delighted to announce tickets for the Pacific Wave 2016 – Prosperous Futures through Technology are now on sale.
With Crimson Consulting’s Jamie Beaton headlining the one-day conference on June 10 in Auckland, the limited number of tickets will sell out fast.
The 21-year-old is making waves of his own with the success of Crimson Consulting – a multi-national education consultancy, which he co-founded with Sharndre Kushor and has since grown into an estimated $75 million plus entity.
Technology has played an integral part in the organisation’s growth and Jamie will share his insights on how his business has developed, as well as looking into one of the Wave’s key topics – Youth Entrepreneurship.
The rest of the line-up is impressive and includes Dr Michelle Dickinson – aka Nanogirl and Vodafone’s Scott Pollard, Digicel’s Pepe Christian Fruean and SkyEye’s Christopher Saili to name a few.
These guest speakers will explore how technology is enabling communities in the region to prosper in sustainable ways.
Workshops presented on the day include Youth Entrepreneurship facilitated by Jamie Beaton; Grow and Manage Your Business Online, led by Growth HQ’s James Kemp; and Innovation which will be staged by Innovate Change’s Simon Harger-Forde.
Don’t miss this unique conference and your chance to hear some enlightening guest speakers share their experience and ideas about technology and how it can improve the livelihoods and wellbeing of Pacific communities throughout the region.
The Pacific Wave aims to generate opportunities to explore the future of technology within the region, bringing together regional and New Zealand businesses, youth from NZ and the region, government ministries from the region, business councils and chambers of commerce, and individuals with an interest in the Pacific.
This group of people will come together to thrash out the ideas and concepts that can be progressed to generate real economic growth opportunities in the Pacific.
